Underwriting Trainee - Remote

Overview

The Underwriting Operations Associate provides technical rating and policy issuance support for routine to moderately complex transactions in underwriting, ensuring compliance with underwriting policies and procedures.

In Short

• Review credit information and determine required documents for processing.
• Respond to agent inquiries regarding risk eligibility and underwriting policies.
• Process and issue mid-term premium and endorsement transactions.
• Support Primary Lead Processing and perform administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with managers on strategies and system development.
• Conduct field research on prospective investments.
• Analyze customer operations for creditworthiness.
• Participate in transaction due diligence and credit approval.
• Ensure accurate collection of customer financial information.
• Understand underwriting procedures and concepts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management or Business preferred.
• 6 months to a year of related experience.
• CPCU, AU, API, or AIS certification preferred.
