Overview

The National Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling the organization's products and services within the assigned region, focusing on achieving significant sales targets and developing customer relationships.

In Short

  • Promotes and sells products and services within an assigned geographic area.
  • Develops revenue generation through sales leads and prospect calls.
  • Accountable for increasing sales/client ratio and expanding the customer base.
  • Visits existing and new customers to foster relationships.
  • Responds to complex customer inquiries and negotiates prices.
  • Identifies and contacts prospective customers for future sales.
  • Establishes sales plans and prioritizes activities to meet targets.
  • Coaches and mentors less experienced sales representatives.
  • Provides extraordinary customer service throughout the sales process.
  • Maintains accurate forecasts and records in Salesforce.com.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least 5 years of sales experience.
  • Knowledge of RR Donnelley products and services preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with the selling cycle and cold calling.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Desire for continuous learning of products and services.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com required.
