Overview

The Legal Workflow Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for various word processing-related projects, coordinating workload and ensuring quality control in a fast-paced environment.

In Short

  • Shift: Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:30pm
  • Pay: $22.42 plus $2 shift differential
  • Training: 3-4 weeks (9:00 am - 5:00 pm, non-flexible)
  • Hybrid: 3 days on site and 2 days remote after 90 days
  • Primary contact for incoming requests related to document processing
  • Coordinate and prioritize workload for the department
  • Maintain knowledge of firm-supported software packages
  • Assist with quality control and proofreading tasks
  • Deliver projects within negotiated timeframes
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm with 95% accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of legal experience preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with legal software is a plus
  • Prior document processing experience in a team environment
  • Knowledge of legal terminology preferred but not required
  • Transcription experience a plus
