Overview

We are looking for a curious and collaborative Senior Software Engineer based in Europe or Latin America to join Rootstock Labs during an exciting time of growth.

In Short

Develop features using Java for the Rootstock client.
Analyze complex requirements and improve the client.
Design and implement scalable features following best practices.
Write clean, modular, and well-tested code.
Collaborate on peer reviews and team discussions.
Write Smart Contracts for feature validation.
Share research findings with global peers.
Update and expand GitHub actions scripts.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Java or JVM-based languages.
Experience with core blockchain components.
Understanding of Ethereum or Bitcoin architecture.
Ability to reason about security and performance in distributed systems.
Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable code.
Strong grasp of data structures.
Experience with Solidity scripting.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent team player with proactive communication.
Fluent in English.
