Senior Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Sr. Software Engineer to join our engineering teams here at Tapcheck. As a software engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of our Azure-based web applications and backend systems.

In Short

• Design, develop, and test data-processing platforms & integrations
• Collaborate with the engineering team to build new products and improve existing ones
• Provide innovative technical solutions to improve functionality and add new product features
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code is maintained
• Integrate with various APIs & backends
• Build with scalability, reliability and performance in mind
• Support Staging, Testing, and Production environments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of development experience with .NET (C#), SQL, and RESTful APIs
• 5+ years of experience building platform and system applications in a public cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• 5+ years of experience working in Agile development teams
• Strong understanding of system architecture, including APIs, databases, and design patterns
• Solid grasp of system design principles and patterns
• Azure and Kubernetes experience (preferred; must be demonstrable)
• Proven experience leading technical projects and mentoring team members
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills
• Positive, open-minded, and collaborative approach to teamwork
