Software Engineer II (Full-Stack) - Remote

Overview

The Software Engineer II (SE II) is a full-stack web-application engineering role that codes and tests complex modules and applications for RoadRunner’s business needs. This position involves taking an enterprise-wide architectural view of our technology platform and using the technical stack that best meets the needs of the platform.

In Short

• 70% - Writes code, debugs and performs unit testing in all application layers and data access layer.
• 10% - Participates in code reviews to ensure accurate code and design techniques are being used.
• 20% - Assists in the full software lifecycle activities including project planning, requirement analysis, design, development, quality assurance and documentation.
• Intermediate to high proficiency in full-stack web development required.
• 1-3 years of working experience in web development.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails and JavaScript/TypeScript is a plus.
• Proficient in database design and querying, including advanced knowledge of SQL.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and effectively prioritize assignments.
• Enthusiasm for sustainability driven mission.
