Overview

The Patient Engagement Specialist serves as the first point of contact for our patients and caregivers throughout their robust onboarding experience with Rippl. This role is crucial for patient engagement, outreach, and acceptance of care for patients and caregivers.

In Short

  • Provide patients and caregivers with an engaging, white glove experience.
  • Effectively communicate Rippl’s offerings to a senior population.
  • Engage with new patients to encourage acceptance of care.
  • Schedule first appointments and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Communicate and receive patient information through various channels.
  • Be a trusted resource for patients on Rippl services.
  • Maintain accurate patient demographics in CRM/EHR.
  • Collaborate with Care Team for seamless patient transitions.
  • Ensure onboarding paperwork is completed and necessary medical documents are obtained.
  • Meet quality, productivity, and acceptance rate performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Passion for working with seniors and their families.
  • 2+ years experience in a healthcare environment required.
  • Experience in patient outreach, engagement, intake, or customer service.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Salesforce, Athena (EHR), and telephony systems.
  • Knowledge of medical and behavioral health terminology.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to connect with diverse backgrounds.
  • Access to high-speed internet and a secure workspace.
