Overview

As a Healthcare Data Engineer at Rippl, you will play a critical role in transforming mental healthcare for seniors with dementia and their caregivers by designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure that empowers clinical teams and business leaders to deliver better outcomes through data-driven insights.

• Design and maintain scalable and secure data pipelines using modern ETL frameworks.
• Build and manage cloud-based data warehouses and data marts.
• Perform data quality checks and validations for health plan data feeds.
• Collaborate with analytics, reporting, and clinical teams.
• Optimize data systems and troubleshoot data issues.
• Implement data governance, security, and privacy standards.
• Work with cloud platforms including AWS and GCP.
• Translate health plan specifications and map data structures.
• Ensure reliable access to healthcare and operational data.
• Support both batch and real-time processing needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with data modeling and ETL frameworks like Fivetran.
• Professional experience with dbt.
• Proficiency in Python, Spark, or similar frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms.
• Experience with data warehousing solutions.
