In Short

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines.
• Work with large datasets from healthcare systems (e.g., EHRs, claims, HL7/FHIR).
• Automate data workflows and support infrastructure using Python, Django, and SQL.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and domain experts to support business goals.
• Implement and manage data workflows using AWS services.
• Utilize Phoenix scripting language where applicable to streamline data operations.
• Ensure high standards of data quality, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, etc.).

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Proven experience working in the healthcare domain with an understanding of clinical or claims data.
• Strong experience with Python, Django & SQL for data processing, automation, and infrastructure work.
• Proficiency in AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, or EMR.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
• Familiarity with data privacy and compliance standards (HIPAA, etc.).
