Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to join our Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key client relationships, take a consultative approach to account management, ensuring the delivery of high-quality pharmacy benefits, and driving client satisfaction. This role requires a deep understanding of PBM services, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage complex accounts.

In Short

  • Responsible for the overall relationship with assigned PBM clients, managing ongoing client touchbases and contract deliverables.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients and internal team members regarding ongoing pharmacy operations.
  • Lead and facilitate all client meetings, including quarterly and annual business reviews.
  • Partner with Implementation team during new client implementations.
  • Gather client requirements for annual open enrollment process.
  • Participate in client webinars and training.
  • Identify trends and work with operations team to take preventative measures.
  • Ensure all requirements and deliverables are met and sent to the client timely.
  • Support Rightway partners with interpreting plan design and resolving inquiries.
  • Maintain an understanding of industry trends and provide insights to clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required; Preferred: Master’s Degree.
  • 5-8 years in pharmacy operations required.
  • Detail-oriented with consultative and presentation skills.
  • Solid client management skills and pharmacy benefit knowledge.
  • Effective problem-solver and ability to prioritize.
  • Basic knowledge of common spreadsheet and presentation tools.
