Overview

The Human Resources Generalist serves as a critical resource for employees and managers across the full spectrum of HR operations, focusing on leave administration and employee benefits.

In Short

• Manage leave administration including FMLA and ADA accommodations.
• Administer employee benefits programs.
• Serve as a trusted resource for employee relations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Conduct workplace investigations and document findings.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Maintain accurate employee files and HR records.
• Participate in policy development and implementation.
• Handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Support management with performance issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum of four years of progressive HR experience.
• Expertise in FMLA and ADA administration.
• Hands-on benefits administration experience.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Paylocity HRIS is a plus.
• Working knowledge of AI tools in HR workflows is a plus.
