HR Generalist - Remote

Overview

As an HR Generalist at Thompson, you will be responsible for a wide range of human resources duties including employee relations, talent acquisition, and compliance, contributing to a positive team culture.

In Short

• Assist with policy and procedure development.
• Manage unemployment claims and worker’s compensation.
• Conduct employee investigations and resolve conflicts.
• Maintain HR file compliance and manage background checks.
• Responsible for full cycle recruitment and onboarding.
• Research and develop job descriptions.
• Utilize a trauma-informed approach in interactions.
• Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Contribute to a positive team culture.
• Display openness to coaching and feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Four years’ experience in human resources.
• Experience in employee relations and conducting investigations.
• Two years’ experience with full cycle recruitment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with HR management systems.
• Must reside in Tampa, FL or Orlando, FL.
• Valid Driver License required.
• Pass a drug screening and background check.
