HR Generalist - Remote

Overview

The HR Generalist will manage a wide range of human resources duties including employee relations, talent acquisition, and compliance within the People Operations department.

• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
• Manage unemployment claims and worker’s compensation.
• Foster positive employee relations and resolve conflicts.
• Maintain HR file compliance and conduct background checks.
• Responsible for full cycle recruitment and onboarding.
• Research and develop job descriptions.
• Use a trauma-informed approach in daily interactions.
• Contribute to a positive team culture.
• Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Be punctual and open to feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of four years’ experience in HR.
• At least one year in employee relations and investigations.
• Two years’ experience in recruitment and onboarding.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with HR management systems.
• Must reside in Tampa, FL or Orlando, FL.
• Valid Driver License required.
• Must pass a drug screening and background check.
