QA Engineer I - Remote

Overview

As a QA Engineer I at Restaurant365, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions while collaborating with QA Engineers, Developers, and Product Managers.

• Execute manual and automated test cases to identify and report software defects.
• Develop comprehensive test cases according to company practices.
• Collaborate with Developers and Product Managers to ensure testability of new features.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving customer-reported defects.
• Prioritize testing activities to meet deadlines and deliverables.
• Utilize automation tools to enhance testing efficiency.
• Maintain up-to-date test documentation and manage testing environments.
• Participate in team meetings and quality assurance initiatives.
• Stay informed on QA best practices and trends.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or 2+ years of equivalent experience.
• 1+ years’ experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of software testing principles and best practices.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Passion for quality assurance and continuous learning.
• Experience with programming languages is a plus.
• Exposure to testing automation tools is a plus.
• Experience with SaaS or cloud-based software is a plus.
