In Short

• Support the QA function within squads at Careem.
• Ensure the highest quality standards for products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Review functional, technical, and design specifications.
• Execute and maintain manual and automated test cases.
• Lead bug triage meetings to resolve defects.
• Participate in root cause analysis.
• Contribute to sprint ceremonies and agile processes.
• Advocate continuous improvement in testing practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 2.5 to 5 years of experience in software testing and QA.
• ISTQB - CTFL certification preferred.
• Passionate about quality and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong team player with collaboration skills.
