Resource Innovations is seeking an Accounting Director of Revenue in Illinois to join our growing team. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Director of Revenue with a strong background in revenue recognition and project-based accounting to join our dynamic team. The Accounting Director of Revenue will be working closely with a team that includes a Senior Manager and a Lead to help run initiatives and manage delivery units. The position involves overseeing and guiding a team focused on revenue recognition, while ensuring that the company’s financial statements accurately reflect the performance of contracts and projects. The Director will also be responsible for leading new initiatives and managing relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.

In Short

• Overseeing revenue recognition in compliance with relevant standards such as ASC 606 and IFRS 15.
• Ensure proper classification of revenues, unbilled receivables, and deferred revenues for each project.
• Prepare and review detailed financial reports.
• Manage project accounting tasks.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for revenue-related inquiries from operations, legal, and sales teams.
• Lead new initiatives and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
• Drive process efficiency through continual improvements.
