Field Operations Manager - Solar - Remote

Overview

The Field Operations Manager – Solar performs operations management of self-performing aspects of utility scale solar.

In Short

• Oversees the project craft plan for all assigned solar projects.
• Analyzes and summarizes departmental activities to evaluate efficiency and accuracy.
• Reviews schedule management and project craft requirements.
• Performs budget management and assists in estimate reviews.
• Maintains understanding of all contractual obligations and documentation.
• Provides excellence in project management and delivery.
• Sets expectations with Superintendents regarding quality programs.
• Performs audit functions to ensure compliance.
• Supports Superintendents with project documentation and inspections.
• Strengthens and maintains client relationships.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural/electrical engineering preferred.
• 10+ years relevant construction experience in Renewables required.
• 7+ years supervisory experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to travel domestically 51-75% of the time required.
• Knowledge of safety and OSHA requirements.
• Experience with Total Quality Management.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma & Lean methodologies.
• Proficient in scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera 6).
