In Short

• Act as a local employment legislation and tax expert for the Nordics region.
• Conduct comprehensive risk reviews of payroll files.
• Prepare detailed audit findings reports.
• Ensure correctness of payroll processes.
• Monitor regulatory climate and implement changes.
• Provide support and training on compliance matters.
• Maintain country knowledge pages.
• Overall responsibility for compliance and reporting.
• Experience in accounting/reconciliations.
• Work with internal teams to improve our platform.

Requirements

• Strong legislation expertise in the Nordics region.
• Experience in a senior payroll role.
• Proven track record of communicating with local authorities.
• Exposure to local authority investigations and audits.
• Experience in making recommendations for process improvements.
• Proficiency in data manipulation (e.g., SQL, Excel).
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in English and the local language.
• Remote work experience is a plus.
