In Short

• Act as a local employment legislation and tax expert for the Nordics region.
• Conduct comprehensive risk reviews of payroll files for compliance.
• Prepare detailed audit findings reports and recommend improvements.
• Ensure correctness of payroll processes and compliance.
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate them to teams.
• Provide support and training on compliance matters to payroll staff.
• Maintain country knowledge pages.
• Experience in accounting/reconciliations.
• Implement recommendations to improve processes.
• Work with internal teams to improve the platform.

Requirements

• Strong legislation expertise in the Nordics region.
• Experience in a senior payroll role within an in-house payroll environment.
• Proven track record of communicating with local authorities.
• Exposure to local authority investigations and audits.
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership of tasks.
• Proficiency in data manipulation (e.g., SQL, Excel).
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment.
• Fluent in English and the local language.
