Site Investigation Specialist - Remote

Overview

We are a fast-growing commercial real estate development firm focused on build-to-suit retail projects across the United States. We are hiring a remote consultant to support our site feasibility process by preparing detailed Site Investigation Reports (SIRs) for new Dollar General development sites. This role is best suited for someone with hands-on civil engineering or direct land development experience.

In Short

• Research and complete comprehensive Site Investigation Reports (SIRs) to assess the feasibility of commercial development sites.
• Analyze and document key due diligence items such as zoning and land use regulations.
• Evaluate utility infrastructure including water, sewer, electric, gas, and communications.
• Interpret municipal design requirements and development standards.
• Assess environmental conditions such as flood zones and wetlands.
• Summarize applicable fees and connection costs.
• Identify permitting agencies and summarize their development review process.
• Evaluate potential site constraints including topography and access.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of SIRs.
• Assist with reviewing civil, traffic, or environmental engineering documents as needed.
