Software Engineer - Linux & Container Technologies - Remote

Overview

The Red Hat Engineering teams are looking for Software Engineers to join our Core Platforms Engineering group to work on Linux & Container technologies. You will be responsible for all aspects of coding and quality, collaborating within an Agile Scrum team to design, develop, validate and support updates to existing features, as well as emerging functions in the Virtualization Stack and Confidential Computing space.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in core languages such as Python, C, Rust or Go.
• Proven ability to debug and maintain enterprise-level projects.
• Experience with Linux Virtualization stack.
• Familiarity with Cloud or Kubernetes technologies.
• Full English proficiency.
• Ability to work in diverse teams.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
• Public code contributions are a plus.
• Speaking opportunities at conferences are a plus.
• Published blogs or articles are a plus.
