Overview

The Red Hat Engineering teams are looking for Senior Software Engineers to join our Core Platforms Engineering group to work on Linux & Container technologies. This position is a great opportunity to make a difference in the Linux virtualization & confidential computing space while working on solutions used by thousands of people around the world.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Proven ability to design and architect large features.
• Experience with Linux Virtualization stack.
• Ability to work with globally distributed teams.
• Past experience in Open-Source collaboration is a plus.
• Familiarity with KVM, QEMU, Libvirt, and Kubernetes.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Ability to leverage AI-assisted development tools.
