HR Generalist - Remote

Overview

The HR Generalist handles employee-related issues, as well as assists with administration and fulfillment of day-to-day tasks of the general operations of the Human Resources Department.

In Short

• Oversee and administer benefits, including enrollments and employee questions.
• Investigate complaints or grievances brought forward by employees.
• Support company managers in issuing counseling and disciplinary actions.
• Assist with onboarding processes for new employees.
• Facilitate completion of New Hire and Exit interviews.
• Ensure proper documentation of employee status changes.
• Maintain employee files and HR system per regulations.
• Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
• Perform periodic audits of employee and benefit files.
• Provide support to HR Administrators and Director of HR.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources preferred.
• 4 years of experience in Human Resources for a company of more than 50 employees.
• 2 years of benefits administration experience.
• Experience managing or supervising others.
• 2 years of experience with a comprehensive HRIS system.
