Public Policy Manager - Remote

Overview

As the first Public Policy Manager at Ramp, you will lay the foundation for our public policy program and directly shape our engagement with regulators and lawmakers.

In Short

• Establish the public policy program and frameworks for monitoring and engagement.
• Craft policy goals aligned with leadership and execute strategy across jurisdictions.
• Monitor federal, state, and local regulatory developments in financial services.
• Build relationships with policymakers, regulators, and industry associations.
• Advise internal teams on policy risk and regulatory strategy.
• Manage memberships in trade associations and lead policy campaigns.
• Draft policy briefs and lead coalition engagements.
• Define future hiring needs as the program scales.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in public policy or government affairs roles.
• Deep understanding of U.S. policymaking and regulatory processes.
• Experience in building policy strategies and running advocacy campaigns.
• Exceptional communication skills for engaging policymakers and executives.
• Strong judgment and ability to influence.
• Comfortable in a high-velocity environment.
