Senior Specialist, Trade Compliance - Remote

Overview

The Sr. Global Trade Compliance Specialist will support Nordson Medical's global import and export operations, ensuring adherence to governmental laws and regulations.

In Short

• Support global import and export operations.
• Develop and execute compliance initiatives.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for compliance questions.
• Create strategic vision for compliance programs.
• Provide documentation for audits and corrective actions.
• Conduct compliance training as needed.
• Assist with assignment of HTS, Country of Origin, and ECCN codes.
• Monitor export shipments for compliance.
• Support mergers and acquisitions compliance.
• Assist with internal and external compliance audits.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of trade compliance experience.
• Familiarity with non-US export laws.
• Strong understanding of import/export laws and regulations.
• Licensed Customs Broker and/or Certified Export Specialist certification preferred.
• Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• High degree of integrity and professionalism.
