Manager, Data Engineering - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for an accomplished and well-rounded manager to lead the Data Engineering team in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and storage systems that support data science, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.

In Short

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of Data Engineers.
• Drive the team’s design and implementation of automated CI/CD/CT pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Establish Data Engineering best practices to ensure data accuracy and security.
• Partner with key stakeholders to define platform requirements and drive adoption.
• Oversee the integration of security controls throughout the data engineering lifecycle.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science, engineering or related field.
• 6-8 years of professional experience in data management or software engineering.
• Proven leadership experience managing technical teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Deep expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Experience in cloud-native environments, preferably AWS.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Problem-solving ability for complex data architecture challenges.
