In Short

• Develop an exhaustive understanding of what drives a customer’s business and what motivates their decision making
• Connect technology solutions to measurable customer business outcomes
• Partner with account managers and specialists to drive revenue growth
• Showcase the advantages of Pure Storage solutions
• Provide technical leadership on storage products and architectures
• Manage evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations
• Deliver technical presentations to customers
• Lead responses to RFPs and RFQs
• Stay current with competitive landscape and trends
• Promote collaboration with product and technical marketing

Requirements

• BS in CS, EE or equivalent experience
• Pre-sales experience required
• 5+ years of relevant experience in technology and sales
• Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server architectures
• Familiarity with modern web architecture
• Experience in targeting new prospects
• Knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures
• Experience with Linux and NFS file systems
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
