Overview

Pryon is seeking an experienced and talented Pre Sales Engineer who is able to work directly with partner leadership on strategy, demonstrations, competitive positioning, and successful movement to evaluation/POC and deployment phases of large strategic partnerships.

In Short

  • Ensure technical qualifications of every prospect and client use case.
  • Work with Solutions Engineering teams to ensure quarterly OKR and metrics.
  • Build and manage domain-specific demonstrations.
  • Obtain technical proficiency in the product within the first 30 days.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Solutions Engineering.
  • Build a high-performing Pre-Sales team over time.
  • Optimize the Pryon engagement model.
  • Create and develop principles and practices for presentations and proof of concept.
  • Interact with customers to define success criteria and implementation strategies.
  • Synthesize client-specific sales strategy and prioritization.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of pre-sales experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in enterprise software.
  • Comfortable in a startup environment.
  • Experience defining and documenting requirements.
  • Ability to translate strategy into tactical plans.
  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial drive.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Knowledgeable in technology and SaaS delivery models.
  • Outstanding team player with coordination skills.
