Senior Product Designer - Remote

Overview

We’re seeking an exceptional Senior Product Designer to join our fast-growing startup as the foundational design voice on our team, shaping the design culture and user experience across multiple product areas.

In Short

• Own the end-to-end design process across multiple product areas.
• Establish and maintain design systems, standards, and best practices.
• Partner with product managers to translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences.
• Design complex AI/ML interfaces for diverse user groups.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
• Manage design tool stack and ensure team adoption.
• Collaborate with product managers to prioritize and scope design work.
• Present design concepts and rationale to leadership and stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers on design implementation and maintain design quality standards.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating complex problem-solving and systems thinking.
• Experience designing for AI/ML, data analytics, or developer-focused products.
• Excellence in design tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.) and prototyping.
• Strong understanding of web technologies and design system principles.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions.
• Experience at early-stage startups or as a founding designer.
• Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• User research and usability testing experience.
