Regulatory Compliance Associate - Remote

Overview

The Regulatory Compliance Associate will perform risk-based evaluations of Protective Life Corporation and its subsidiaries’ regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to policies and operational effectiveness through compliance testing engagements.

In Short

• Conduct compliance testing engagements and document findings.
• Research regulatory requirements and establish testing criteria.
• Request data and perform testing.
• Communicate test results with management partners.
• Support development of remediation plans for identified risks.
• Participate in assigned projects.
• Focus on market conduct preparedness and regulatory compliance.
• Work with corporate policies and third-party contracts.
• Ensure compliance with SEC Rule 38a-1.
• Collaborate with compliance and business partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Five years of experience in compliance, auditing, or financial operations.
• Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations.
• Ability to perform statistical analyses of data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Experience with Archer and audit data analysis tools is a plus.
• Certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CFE preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to draft reports under supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively.
