Sentara Urgent Care Gloucester is hiring a Patient Care Specialist to provide non-clinical support and ensure an excellent patient experience through various administrative tasks.

In Short

• Provide non-clinical support in a physician's office.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Ensure excellent patient experience.
• Work in a team-oriented environment.
• Clinic hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and weekends 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Three years of clerical or customer service experience required.
• Experience with health insurance plans and medical records preferred.
• Compensation includes base pay and additional incentives.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Three years of clerical or customer service experience.
• One year experience with health insurance plans and medical terminology.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours based on business needs.
