The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver who will build strong relationships with key stakeholders, partner with the business to identify and mitigate potential legal and business risks, and offer innovative solutions to optimize how we support the business.

In Short

• Provide legal advice and counsel primarily on employment law issues.
• Collaborate with outside counsel and represent the business in legal proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents.
• Develop strategies to resolve employment disputes.
• Conduct investigations into employee complaints.
• Draft and review employment contracts and policies.
• Stay updated on employment laws and regulations.
• Conduct training sessions on employment law topics.
• Collaborate with other attorneys for comprehensive legal services.
• Consult with corporate attorneys and outside counsel as necessary.

Requirements

• Strong analytical, drafting, negotiating, and communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Sound business judgment and practical problem-solving skills.
• High level of personal integrity and professional judgment.
• Ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
• Positive attitude and good work ethic.
• Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
• Extensive experience in employment law.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree required.
• 5+ years of relevant legal experience.
