Overview

As a Check-In Specialist at Porter, you will play a crucial role in managing the appointment check-in process, ensuring smooth communication between members and providers, and enhancing the overall healthcare experience.

In Short

  • Manage day-of appointment check-in process for providers.
  • Make approximately 20 check-in calls daily to confirm member readiness.
  • Communicate with providers using Athena chat.
  • Coordinate with Practice Coordinators for appointment status updates.
  • Monitor and address day-of appointment issues.
  • Responsible for insurance verification updates.
  • Work collaboratively using tools like Athena and Salesforce.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage dynamic workflows.
  • Experience in healthcare customer service is required.
  • Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced environment.

  • Customer Service experience in healthcare industry.
  • Comfortable using chat-based tools for internal communication.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage a dynamic workflow.
  • Experience with Athena or Salesforce is a plus.
