IT Specialist - Remote

Overview

As an IT Specialist at Chainguard, you will ensure the smooth operation of the company's IT infrastructure and support all employees, known as Chainguardians. Your role will involve managing IT systems, providing technical support, ensuring security compliance, and collaborating across different time zones.

In Short

• Prioritize excellent customer service to employees.
• Utilize and improve the ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems.
• Write documentation to assist users.
• Participate in the acquisition and maintenance of IT equipment.
• Manage software installations for new users.
• Ensure compliance with IT/Security policies.
• Provide on-call support when needed.
• Assist with onboarding new employees.
• Collaborate with HR/Recruiting team.

Requirements

• Experience in IT Support, preferably in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with MacOS and Linux.
• Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM).
• Understanding of IT Security best practices.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Some travel may be required.
• Ability to maintain conference A/V systems.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Eager to grow in a dynamic environment.
