IT Specialist - Remote

Overview

The IT Specialist at Very Good Ventures will partner with the People Operations Manager and external IT consultants to manage IT processes and administration, ensuring a smooth IT experience for employees.

In Short

• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.
• Maintain documentation related to change management processes.
• Manage provisioning and deprovisioning of user accounts and software tools.
• Oversee hardware lifecycle management and inventory of devices.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Manage the organization’s IT infrastructure, including cloud systems.
• Provide help desk support and troubleshoot IT issues for employees.
• Regularly monitor IT systems for functionality and performance.

Requirements

• 2 - 4 years of experience in IT coordination or support.
• Experience in Help Desk roles.
• Strong customer service skills and teamwork orientation.
• Experience with Mac devices preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IT security best practices.
• Familiarity with SAAS/cloud-based systems.
• Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
