Medical Director - Remote

Overview

Plume Health is seeking a passionate Medical Director to lead the clinical vision and ensure the delivery of safe, affirming, and trans-competent care to the TGNC community.

In Short

• Lead the clinical voice and subject matter expert for Plume Health.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders for product launches.
• Oversee a network of contracted providers and manage full-time providers.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives for quality of care.
• Maintain a manageable patient panel while focusing on administrative duties.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with product and tech teams for optimized workflows.
• Support marketing efforts with clinical expertise.
• Drive alignment on organizational OKRs.
• Provide guidelines for clinical projects.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of the trans experience and commitment to gender-affirming care.
• 3+ years of experience working with the TGNC community in a clinical setting.
• 10+ years of clinical patient experience.
• Valid medical license and certification (MD/DO, NP, PA).
• Experience in a medical director role or similar capacity.
• People management experience, particularly with clinicians.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing projects and meetings.
• Proficient in Google Docs and Google Sheets.
• Experience in primary care and mental health management.
• Experience in a fully remote telehealth setting.
