Medical Director - Remote

Overview

Innovaccer is seeking a forward-thinking Medical Director to guide the clinical strategy and product development for our revenue integrity solutions, including Prior Authorization, Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI), and Coding Agents.

In Short

• Serve as the clinical thought leader for mid-cycle product development.
• Guide the development and optimization of co-pilots/agents.
• Conduct clinical reviews and partner with clients for performance improvement.
• Collaborate with product managers to define use cases and evaluate outcomes.
• Support development of feedback systems connecting outcomes to provider behavior.
• Partner with go-to-market teams to articulate clinical and financial value.
• Contribute to clinical research or white papers validating Innovaccer’s approach.

Requirements

• MD or DO with active, unrestricted U.S. medical license.
• Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience.
• Experience implementing evidence-based clinical outcome measures.
• Hands-on experience in quality improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with statistical approaches for analyzing outcomes.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to lead and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience with AI/ML-powered tools is a bonus.
