Overview

We are looking for a Principal Designer and 3Cs specialist to join our Firesprite team to work on creating and evolving a AAA locomotion and camera system for a story-driven 'Narrative Adventure' with genre defining goals.

• Crafting on-the-sticks experience in free locomotion.
• Ensuring seamless transitions between scripted locomotion and gameplay.
• Establishing locomotion principles and standards across the game.
• Driving additive motions to convey emotions in locomotion systems.
• Planning and prioritizing tasks for timely completion.

• Evangelizing locomotion as a positive multiplier for the game.

Requirements

• Experienced Principal 3Cs Specialist.
• Portfolio showcasing 3Cs implementations in 3rd person titles.
• Excellent knowledge of Unreal Engine 5.
• Understanding of motion matching systems and principles.
• Knowledge of player and gameplay cameras.
• Understanding of gameplay, cinematics, and interactions.
• Outstanding team collaborator and problem solver.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
