In Short

• Be accountable and responsible for the support and delivery of all crises, business continuity and emergency management programs.
• Lead global business impact analysis (BIA) and risk assessment exercises.
• Analyze and understand IT gaps on essential business functions.
• Identify opportunities for strategic improvement or mitigation of business interruption.
• Create, review or update existing business continuity and crisis management plans.
• Work collaboratively with IT to support disaster recovery planning.
• Maintain and update business continuity plans for recovery decision making.
• Conduct annual tests of key plans to ensure adherence to standards.
• Write and track reports summarizing testing and recommended remediation activities.
• Build cross-functional relationships to support the business continuity program.

Requirements

• 10+ years of management experience with at least six years in risk management, business continuity, crisis management, or emergency preparedness.
• Detailed understanding of risk management and emergency preparedness.
• Excellent strategic, problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to think through hypothetical situations and identify risks.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project planning tools.
• One or more certifications in Business Continuity from DRI International or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration or related field; Master’s degree desirable.
