API/EDI Backend Developer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced API/EDI Backend Developer located in LatAm or Europe to join our growing team at Pipe17. As an integral member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining API and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Business-to-Business (B2B) platform integrations.

In Short

• Design, develop, and implement API/EDI B2B integrations into the Pipe17 platform.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Configure and customize API/EDI mappings, transformations, and workflows.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of EDI/B2B processes.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing API/EDI/B2B integrations.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience in API Platform development and EDI/B2B development.
• Experience with EDI standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and protocols.
• Proven experience with HTML, CSS, Node.js, and JavaScript.
• Experience in developing custom scripts and automation tools.
• Solid understanding of B2B communication protocols and data formats.
• Experience with EDI translation software and EDI VANs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
