Overview

PermitFlow’s mission is to streamline and simplify construction permitting in the $1.6 trillion United States construction market. Our software reduces time to permit, supporting permitting end-to-end including permit research, application preparation, submission, and monitoring.

In Short

• Work alongside the CTO and engineering team to develop a construction permit application.
• Define the product and engineering roadmap with founders and users.
• Own and ship features from inception to implementation.
• Develop extensible workflow tooling for permitting.
• Build user experiences for applying, tracking, and managing permits.
• Mentor engineers and promote a culture of technical excellence.

Requirements

• Strong experience in professional fullstack development, ideally in startups.
• Experience with Typescript, Node.js, and Postgres.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
• Experience managing technically challenging cross-functional projects.
• Ability to identify valuable projects and execute autonomously.
• Customer-first mindset with a focus on building polished products.
• Habit of introspection regarding past successes.
