Network Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Join a small but exceptional Infrastructure team as a Network Engineer.
• Drive networking strategy and set the foundation of networking technology.
• Be the first point of contact for establishing network connectivity.
• Monitor network services for performance and reliability.
• Partner with customers to ensure healthy IPSec/VPN services.
• Develop and maintain documentation for shared knowledge.
• Participate in on-call duties as needed.
• 5+ years of Network Engineering experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills required.
• Familiarity with AWS or cloud-native network architectures.

Requirements

• Experience with core network protocols such as LACP, Ethernet, VLANs, ARP, TCP/IP, Routing Protocols, DHCP, DNS, NAT.
• Experience implementing and troubleshooting IPSec/VPN services.
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes architecture.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies like KVM, VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V.
• Experience using packet capture tools like Wireshark, tcpdump.
• Experience using troubleshooting tools like ncat, ping, traceroute.
• San Francisco or Washington DC based candidates preferred.
