Network Engineer - Remote

Overview

A Networks Engineer is required to join a fast-paced IT division to facilitate and enhance the IT Networks within Allica bank.

In Short

• Responsible for creating stable, secure, and performant networks across the organisation.
• Focus on network design and delivery adhering to high quality secure networking practices.
• Implement and maintain a secure network within the bank.
• Experience using and implementing Software Defined Networking (SDN).
• Configuration and management of the Cloud network using Azure services.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and security issues within the cloud architecture.
• Automate network creation and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.
• Document designs and provide instructions on confluence.
• Experience with VPN technology for Remote Access services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Switching/Routing experience (Ideally minimum CCNA/JNCIA level).
• Firewall experience (Preferably experience with URL filtering/Proxy).
• Scripting experience for IAC (Terraform / Ansible).
• Experience of using Azure cloud native services.
• Understanding and experience using Azure DevOps.
• Microsoft AZ-104 and/or AZ-700 desirable.
• Palo Alto Network PNCSA certification desirable.
• Previous experience with wireless networks (preferably Meraki).
