Risk and Controls Manager - Remote

Overview

The Risk and Controls Manager will play a vital role in embedding the Risk Management Framework within the bank, ensuring effective management of risks and controls in partnership with the Lending business area.

In Short

• Partner with Lending to implement the Risk Management Framework.
• Test existing and new key controls.
• Support operational resilience programs.
• Facilitate Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs).
• Assist with capital calculation for Operational Risk.
• Update risk information on the bank’s Risk systems.
• Conduct deep dive reviews into thematic risks.
• Provide assurance over key controls.
• Promote a risk-focused culture across the bank.
• Deputize for the Head of Controls as needed.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of risk management and controls.
• Experience with RCSAs and risk event reporting.
• Hands-on assurance/monitoring experience.
• Ability to adapt quickly to workflow.
• Strong written and presentation skills.
• Ability to provide constructive challenges.
• Team player focused on development.
• 10-12 years of experience in operational risk management.
