Land Transactions Associate - Remote

Overview

The Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) is looking for a detail-driven, mission-motivated Land Transactions Associate to play a hands-on role in turning complex real estate transactions into lasting conservation outcomes.

In Short

• Support due diligence and closing phases of transaction projects.
• Manage and support ongoing use of transaction information systems.
• Ensure compliance with best practices and Land Trust Alliance standards.
• Coordinate with Finance and Development teams.
• Act as lead liaison on transaction closings and internal coordination.
• Support acquisition and post-acquisition activities.
• Maintain data integrity of Salesforce-based platforms.
• Provide training and support for Salesforce tools.
• Represent POST at donor and public events.
• Work in alignment with POST’s organizational values.

Requirements

• Two years or more experience in real property-related business.
• Growth mindset and experience managing projects.
• Effective communicator with strong writing and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and creative problem solver.
• Knowledge of land trust practices and conservation easements is helpful.
• Ability to work effectively using Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• College degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of natural resources is necessary.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
