Land Transactions Intern - Remote

Overview

This internship opportunity at POST allows you to gain experience in the nonprofit sector, particularly in land conservation efforts on the San Francisco Peninsula and South Bay. The intern will support various aspects of land protection work and collaborate with a dedicated team.

In Short

• Flexible internship: 6 months at 40 hours/week or 12 months at 20 hours/week.
• Support land protection projects.
• Collaborate with the Transactions Coordinator and Real Estate Specialist.
• Track and maintain project data and records.
• Develop informational materials for projects.
• Assist in maintaining transactional records.
• Attend meetings and take notes.
• Gain insights into land trusts and conservation goals.
• Work towards an equitable and inclusive culture.
• Compensation of $25.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Education or experience in land conservation or real estate.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and/or Google Slides.
• Self-motivated and a creative problem solver.
• Ability to work in teams with diverse backgrounds.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Passion for the outdoors and natural resources.
• College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience with legal documents is beneficial.
