HR Manager - Remote

Overview

The HR Manager role is a critical partner to company leadership and team managers, supporting the overall employee experience, shaping company culture, and ensuring compliance with HR-related policies and procedures.

In Short

• Own and operate day-to-day HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, and compliance.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions related to HR policies.
• Coordinate performance review cycles and engagement surveys.
• Maintain and manage data in HRIS and other people tools.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws.
• Collaborate with managers to support employee relations.
• Support recruitment coordination and background checks.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes.
• Keep documentation up to date, including HR policies.
• Partner with legal HR advisors as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an HR generalist or HR operations role.
• Experience operating core HR processes.
• Familiarity with California employment law.
• Strong attention to detail and process accuracy.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
