Overview

PayNearMe is seeking an experienced Staff Technical Program Manager to lead Quality and Reliability efforts across critical systems and services, ensuring high standards of operational quality and system reliability.

In Short

• Lead Quality & Reliability initiatives across multiple teams.
• Own the Production Readiness Review process.
• Establish and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
• Streamline incident management and improve tooling.
• Identify and mitigate system risks proactively.
• Influence cross-functional teams to prioritize reliability.
• Utilize tools like Jira and Atlas for tracking progress.
• Build programs for continuous learning from incidents.
• Drive alignment across Engineering, Product, and Operations.
• Work remotely within the US.

Requirements

• 8+ years of program management experience.
• Strong understanding of system architecture and reliability engineering.
• Familiarity with SDLC models and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven track record in defining SLOs and production readiness.
• Experience with Atlassian tools for program tracking.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and influence without authority.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Bonus: Experience in regulated industries like fintech.
