Overview

PayDo is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our growing team in London. This role is crucial in ensuring our business operates within the complex and evolving landscape of financial regulations, particularly those set by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

In Short

  • Act as a key stakeholder in maintaining the regulatory reporting schedule to the FCA and other relevant authorities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory reports.
  • Maintain and enforce compliance with FCA regulations applicable to EMIs.
  • Support the Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer (DMLRO) function.
  • Ensure compliance with Consumer Duty requirements.
  • Support FCA and external AML audit processes.
  • Provide regulatory guidance to internal teams.
  • Leverage previous FCA appointments to strengthen compliance position.
  • Contribute to corporate governance initiatives.
  • Work on unique projects that reshape company-wide processes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of direct experience in a Regulatory Compliance role within an EMI environment.
  • Understanding of the UK financial regulatory environment.
  • Expertise in the FCA Handbook.
  • Understanding of UK AML/CTF regulations.
  • Solid knowledge of the FCA's Consumer Duty.
  • Awareness of various financial crime risks.
  • Proven ability to prepare and submit regulatory reports.
  • Strong grasp of UK GDPR and data protection legislation.
  • Russian/Ukrainian language skills are beneficial.
