In Short

• Seeking a dynamic Legal Counsel with SaaS licensing experience.
• Responsible for reviewing and drafting contracts, mainly SaaS subscription agreements.
• Assist cross-functional teams with RFP responses and vendor contracts.
• Must be a clear communicator who can balance legal risks with business objectives.
• Prior experience at a tech company or with educational institutions is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of in-house legal experience required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and entrepreneurial spirit are essential.
• Remote working environment with all necessary tools provided.

• Salary range is $150,000 to $180,000 depending on experience.

Requirements

• Experience in drafting and negotiating revenue-based SaaS agreements.
• Experience with data privacy laws like FERPA and COPPA.
• Ability to work independently and effectively with various teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
• Admission to any State bar in good standing is required.
• Experience in tech or educational sectors is a plus.
• Ability to communicate complex legal concepts to non-lawyers.
